Welcome! (Or, Bienvenidos, as we say here)…
We left our hearts in Mexico... at the Matamoros Children's Home.
A small band of us started going to help our friends South of the border over 30 years ago. Little did we know that every time we went there to "Help" them, we would go back home with so much more than we left there! Now our little group has grown to over 150 people. I have seen the lives of many of our youth that have been Completely transformed. Today, many that have gone are now missionaries all over the world…
My own children found eternal salvation at the Home. Some of our fondest memories are of time we have spent at the Home, as a family. We have laughed till we cried and cried till we laughed!
The Children's Home is cared for by two very loyal servants of God. Dr. Saul and Maria Camacho. Since 1967 they have been caring for orphans, neglected and abused children with "Unconditional Love" Over the past 50 years, many have come and helped make the Home what it is today. We now care for 206 children!
Our needs are never ending but with God's Grace and your help, we continue...
